Yay!! I have FINALLY created my own Etsy shop!! I am soo excited! Mind you, it nearly did my head in trying to work it all out! I was trying to get the banner just right...it took an hour to get it the right size (in additon to the rest of the set-up!) and find the right font etc. When I finally think I have it right, I hit submit and a screen pops up telling me Etsy is down for maintanance!! AAARRRGGGHHH!! 10 deep breaths later, I calmed down and thought I should come and 'blog'. I haven't been on here for a while, just been busy with family stuff and actually scrapbooking!
I will post some pics of my latest project, a mini titled Shabby French. It's about my love of all things Shabby and french! It's the first mini I have actually made and kept for myself! All the others have been given as presents!
Anyway, I will post a link to my new Etsy shop, feel free to browse. Well actually, at the moment there will only be a couple of things on there. I will catch up and post more items, but for now I am just going slow and steady and learning along the way! I am just about to post my very first You Tube video!! I am very nervous about it! Everyone else makes it look so easy, but I felt really strange doing it! Never mind, hopefully there will be some positive feedback!! Check it out..

Belinda

Hi
This another layout I have recently done. Currently I am working on a 4x4 mini corrugated cardboard album. It's more like an experiment for me! I have used Jo Sonja paint and Crackle medium on each page. Blue and Moss Green. Interesting effect! I have used crackle medium before, just not on a scrap page like that. Not sure if I am happy with how it's going though! Trial and error, as long as we learn along the way!! Anyway, here are a couple more layouts.....

Hi Everyone!
OK, I have finally got some more layouts to post. Some I did a while ago, some were quick pages that I were spur of the moment kind of ones :)
I intend on starting a new mini album in the next couple of days and have also been asked to put up a You Tube video showing the couple of mini albums I have (the others I had given as presents!). Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment!

It's been a while!
Hi Everyone!
It's been a while! Just been busy, or rather sick. We all had some sort of flu thing sarting the first day of the Victorian school holidays! Not a good start! It took weeks to feel better. Needless to say, I haven't done a great deal of scrapbooking
:( I have done a couple of layouts. I only have one of them on the computer at the moment.
This is a layout of my son, Noah. I just loved this pic of him. Natural and in his element- outside! The pic is a little darker than it actually is though. I like the way it turned out. I used lots of paint on this one, something I don't do often enough, but when I do, I really enjoy it!! I used my new Cricut cartridge, Home Decor. I love the "explore" title! The little birds and the dragonfly and butterfly are just so cute too! I am looking at getting the Sure-Cuts-A-Lot software, as the Cricut cartridges are just so expensive! Anyway, I hope you are all getting lots of scrapping done and having fun doing it!!

No more babies
Yesterday was a hectic day. It was my baby boy's 3rd birthday! I cooked non-stop from mid-morning, cooking Noah's cake (Bob the Builder-of course!) which was a sponge cake and the firdt EVER to actually cook properly!! I also cooked stuff for tea as we had his Nana around. Noah loved his new blue bike, although he just doesn't get how to push the pedals! It was like pulling teeth trying to get him to push down on the top pedal and keep doing it! He will pick it up eventually :)
It was a stark realization that he wasn't a baby anymore- no more babies in the house...EVER! 4 children is plenty enough! I will get clucky- I can guarantee it, but that's different to actually wanting another baby! I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life and that of my kids. They grow up soo quickly! I soo much to scrap! It's hard to know where to start though. I am many years behind in scrapbooking. I didn't really get into it until Noah was born. Our eldest girl, Erin is now 14. I have hardly any photos of her as the camera I had back then was a cheap and nasty. I just have to make the most of the pics I do have and include a lot of journalling!
I haven't done any scrapbooking for about a week!! Not like me, but I have just been busy doing other things, you know how it gets sometimes! The other thing is, my computer's motherboard died, so it's off getting repaired and won't be back for another 5 days or so. The good news is I am getting a new computer and giving my old one to the girls. They are really excited because it will have internet access and I put another gig of memory in it so they can play the Sims 2 and 3 on it!! So bring on Friday!!!!! YAY!
Well that's enough for now. I hope you are all scrapping happily! I would love to see your work. I was thinking of doing a You Tube video, but I don't know if I have the courage to do one! LOL My hubby is trying to convince me to do one.........we'll see!
